Outlook organization in a nutshell

Outlook supports two systems to organize mail. By default, SuperInbox uses folders (most common Outlook workflow).
Exclusive location: a thread lives in one folder at a time. Moving a thread to a folder removes it from Inbox. Supports a clear hierarchy of folders/subfolders.
Visual color tags: a thread can have multiple badges. They do not move emails; location stays the same. Great for scanning and search.

How SuperInbox fits this system

  • Default categories: we create three folders — To respond, FYI, Marketing (your existing structure is preserved)
  • Automatic sorting: new emails are analyzed and sent to the most relevant category
  • Personalize: when setting up your categories, you can use badges, folders or combine both.

Plans & settings

  • Free plan: the 3 default folders are applied automatically and cannot be changed.
  • Paid plans: create, rename, or replace categories; choose folder, badge, or hybrid per category in Settings → Inbox → Categorization.
