# Adding knowledge & context

> Supercharge your AI's performance by adding your own context and reference materials. While SuperInbox learns automatically from your emails, adding manual knowledge gives you instant improvements and more control over your drafts. 

Add context to improve your drafts. Two simple levers: upload documents and write instructions. The AI already learns from your emails; use these to fill gaps and enforce specific behaviors.

  **Why**

  * Provide references (pricing, specs, processes)
  * Ensure consistent language with glossaries/terms
  * Bring in external info (CRM, notes, product sheets)

  **How**

  1. Open **Dashboard > Knowledge Management**
  2. Click **Upload Document**
  3. Choose a PDF and optionally add a short description
  4. Confirm the upload

    PDFs only, ideally text-based (not scanned). Keep each document focused.

  **Why**

  * Guide precise habits (tone, structure, exceptions)
  * Cover rules not visible in recent emails

  **Quick examples**

  * "Always suggest two time slots and include next steps"
  * "CC my manager on introductions"
  * "Wednesday afternoon is focus time; don't offer it"

  **How**

  1. Open **Dashboard > Knowledge Management**
  2. Click **Add Instructions**
  3. Write in plain English
  4. Click **Save** to apply immediately
